Where Texas stands in the conference race
Texas shares the fourth-highest conference winning percentage with Vanderbilt. Kentucky leads this snapshot, with Florida and Georgia between Kentucky and the 4–2 group. Because teams have played different numbers of league matches, compare the percentage as well as the number of wins.
The Longhorns' overall record includes their nonconference matches. Those results do not count toward SEC winning percentage. Texas's next listed conference matches are home dates against Auburn and Florida; use the full schedule for current dates, times and results.

Standings questions
Is Texas's SEC position the same as its national ranking?
No. Conference position compares SEC results. The AVCA rankings page reports a separate national coaches poll.
Why do tied teams share a position?
This table groups equal conference winning percentages without deciding head-to-head or other tournament seeding tiebreakers. A T4 label describes the current percentage group, not a guaranteed seed.
How current is this table?
It reproduces the SEC report through October 11, 2026, checked October 15, 2026. The source date stays visible so later results are not mistaken for part of this snapshot.
Why equal win totals can produce different positions
A 4–1 conference record is 4 ÷ 5 = .800; a 4–2 record is 4 ÷ 6 = .667 after rounding. Both teams have four wins, but they have not played the same number of matches. That is why this table groups by percentage rather than wins alone.
A shared percentage remains a tie in this presentation. The table does not infer a head-to-head tiebreak or assign a tournament seed. Check the conference's official seeding announcement when planning postseason coverage.
