How to read these results

The Texas number comes first, including road matches. W, 3–1 means Texas won three sets and its opponent won one. L, 0–3 means Texas was swept. The linked official box score contains the points in each set and individual player statistics.

Why is a recent match missing?

A scheduled start time passing does not establish a final result. Matches enter this archive only after a confirmed score is recorded. Check the official Texas Athletics schedule if a later result is missing.

Where is the live score?

For an ongoing match, follow the live-stats link on the official schedule. Use our game-today page for the scheduled opponent and start information.

What do these results mean for the season?

The opening SEC review discusses the conference results. The standings compare conference records, while the statistics page reports dated player and team figures.

Separate the match result from the performance

A sweep, four-set match and five-set match each count as one win or one loss. Set totals describe how a result was reached, but they do not replace the match record. A box score adds the missing detail: set-by-set points, attacks, errors, serving and player appearances.

To compare two matches, start with the number of sets and the venue. A larger raw kill or dig total in a five-set match can partly reflect more opportunities. Use the same statistical period when comparing an individual match with season averages.
